This is a soundtrack of theater called "MORAL" written by Koharu Kisaragi, one of the leading playwrights of 1980s and known for her interaction with Ryuichi Sakamoto. It was staged by NORUHA extra at Kitasenju buoy, November 2022.

I expressed the themes of the theater through a mix of ambient, post-classical and vaporwave, as well as solemn and dramatic elements that are reminiscent of Ryuichi Sakamoto.
I hope this work will transcend the framework of a mere soundtrack and bring fresh emotions to listeners.

1980年代を代表する劇作家であり、坂本龍一との交流でも知られた如月小春の代表作『MORAL』リブート版のサウンドトラック集 (演劇プロジェクト〈円盤に乗る派〉公演)。

バブル景気前夜の「都市」「消費社会の身体」を描いた同作のエッセンスを、TOMCはアンビエントやヴェイパーウェイヴ、さらには坂本龍一に通ずる荘厳でドラマティックなポスト・クラシカルの要素を織り交ぜて表現。
曲ごとに”チル”と”エモーション”が交錯する緻密な構成は、単なるサウンドトラックの枠を超えて、現代社会に生きるリスナーにも新鮮な感情をもたらしてくれます。
